5th, he now turns to the consideration of the opposite hypothesis, that the One is not. Here, he is comparatively brief, devoting [about?] [six?] pages to the whole discussion; and four of these six pages are devoted to the consideration of what the character of this non-existent absurdity will be. For here again, he is unaware that the non-existent may be supposed to have any character we like, and that it is absurd, it can be proved that it must must have and not have each and every character.

He shows that if one suppose that the One is not, but is absurd, then it is both generated and corrupted, and neither generated not corrupted, etc.

6th, He shows that if the One is not, but is absurd, it has no attributes of any kind, a conclusion undoubtedly equally correct. In fact, anything is demonstrable concerning the absurd.

7th, he now only gives two pages to considering the consequences
