the Yaul with an officer to deman him which the Commander of the ship seemingly acquesed [acquiesced] in until
he had got the boat below the ship then abused and turnd [turned] them from the ship they likewise [illegible] two more
of our seamen on this report got more asistance [assistance] and sent the 3d Officer with a letter to the Commander
demanding the men as deserters

Moderate Breezes Noly [Northerly] and fair Employd [Employed] as necssary Carpenter and Joiner in the Cabins
Sailmaker making a tarpaling for the after Hatches PM the Boats returnd [returned] with [[Jno [John] Chambers]]
[[Jno [John] English]] [[David Cottam]] three of our seamen which where consealed on Bord [Board] the Ship Gaptain
Holling put them in Irons

Winds and weather as yesterday AM Hauld [Hauled] up the new main and fore top sails up to Our Sailmaker
pricking the main top galt [gallant] sail Holders in the Lazareta stowing watter [water] some hands repairing the rattlin
of the fore and mizen Shrouds

Saturday 31st

Winds and weather as yesterday aired the new Canvases People knotting yarns to make rope Tradesmen
respectfully

Saturday 1st of November

Fresh breezes Esly [Easterly] and fair weather AM Washed the Gund deck

Monday 2

Winds and weather as yesterday recd [received] P [per] Long boat 12 Butts of watter [water] employd [employed] takin the things off
from the Bankshall stowing the Lazareta making rope &c Carpenter and Joiner about the Cabins

Tuesday 3

Winds and weather as before Employd [Employed] making rope plats [guasquits?] Tradesmen respectfully

Wednesday 4th

Fresh breezes Noly [Northerly] and fair Employd [Employed] as yesterday received P [per] long Boat a trip of watter [water] took
on board the rest of the Provisions from ye Bankshall sent the Long Boat a wooding Recd [Received] on
account from town that [[Mr. Ashley]] 4th Officer died at 7 PM yesterday
