be , and the same is hereby , accepted and approved
as the highest and best legal bid that was offered
for said Ohio University Certificates , and the Secretary of
this Board is hereby authorized , ordered and directed
to deliver said $10.000.00 of Ohio University Certificates
to the said Bank of Athens Ohio, upon the said Bank of
[O.U.
Certificates [end inserted] Athens Ohio paying therefor in cash forthwith to the
Treasurer of the Ohio University , who is hereby authorized
and directed to receive and receipt for the same said
sum of $ 10.385.00, being the amount of said bid
at said sale including the premium therefor.
And all fo the foregoing proceedings relating to the
sale of said Ohio University Certificates are hereby
duly ratified approved and confirmed by this Board.

on Resolutions
as to death of
W.E Bundy [end inserted] On motion of Mr Wood duly
Seconded and adopted the Chair appointed
Messrs Coultrap . Welch and Jones as Committee
to prepare resolutions as to the death of Hon.
William. E Bundy a former member of this Board
to report as soon as practicable for them so to do.

nonattendance [end inserted] On motion duly seconded
and adopted Messrs Hamblin. Boyce. Benson, Whiley
and Blackstone members of this Board were excused
for non attendance.
[inserted] Bond of
Treasurer [end inserted] Mr Foster presented to the Board
the official bond of A.J. Frame as Treasurer of the Ohio
University and moved that said bond be received
approved and accepted by the Board which motion was duly seconded and unanimously adopted
and said bond was ordered to be placed on file.
