in behalf of the Alumni Association of the O.U ,and that
said Committee be instructed to report its proceedings
to the August meeting of this Board,upon motion duly
seconded said report was unanimously adopted.
[inserted] Y.MC.A [end inserted] Mr Wood moved that we
take from the table the motion to appropriate the
sum fo $40. for the Y.M.C A ,and Y W. C A each which
motion was duly seconded and adopted.
Judge Coultrap moved
that we allow the Y. M. C A and Y. W C. A the sum of
$40. each for the purpose stated in the original motion
which motion was duly seconded and unanimously
adopted _

Mirror [end inserted] The President state that there was a
[?deficiency?] in the matter of the publication of the
O.U. Mirror , and on motion of Mr Davidson duly
seconded and adopted the sum of $50.00 was appropriated
for the purpose of defraying said indebtedness.

a new
Library [end inserted] Mr Bundy moved
that we go upon the college campus and
examine a site for the new Library Building , which
motion was duly seconded and adopted
And thereupon the Board
proceeded as a body to the college campus to examine a
site for the new Library Building,and having
examined the same returned to the room where the
Board reconvened with Pres. Ellis in the Chair.
Mr Jewett offered the
following resolution;
[inserted] Erection of
Library
Building [end inserted] "Resolved: That there shall be erected
on the University grounds a Library Building, according to
the plans prepared therefor by Frank. L Packard Architect and
submitted to the Board or such other plans as the Board may
adopt, and that the special appropriation made by the 75th
General Assembly of Ohio of $10.000.00 for the year 1903 and
$10.000.00 for the year 1904 be used for such building : that
the Secretary of this Board be directed to advertise for bids
for furnishing the material s and labor for such building, said bids
