On motion of Mr Davidson duly seconded and adopted
the degrees recommended in the above report were
directed to be conferred upon the persons therein named
by the Faculty.
Mr L.G. Worstell appeared before the
Board and stated that at a meeting of the Alumni
held to day it was desired that the Board actively
co-operate with the Committee for the Alumni Asociation
of the Ohio University for the purpose of appropriately
celebrating the centenial of the Ohio University next
June.
[inserted] O.U. Centenial [end inserted] Mr Bundy then made to the Board the
following report of thhe Committee appointed this forenoon-
"That the Committee upon the
Centenial Celebration of the Ohio University to be held next
June consist of the following persons
That the President of the O.U and B.O. Higley Secretary
of the Alumni Association be ex-officio members of this
Committee , and that Messrs Foster + Jones of the Board of
Trustees be appointed as two of that Committee; and that
Professors Evans and Copeland of the Faculty be appointed therein
, and the committee recommend that E. D. Sayre and
L. G. Worstell be appointed as a Committee of two in
