Meeting

June [end inserted] An annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Ohio
University was held at its office in Ewing Hall in Athens
Ohio, this day and at the time above named, in
pursuance of a written notice duly given to all of the
members of the Board by the Secretary.
The meeting was called to order by President Ellis. A call
of the roll was had showing th following members
[inserted] call of Roll [end inserted] of the Board present to wit: Dr Alston. Ellis. V.C. Lowrey
L.M Jewett. R. E. Hamblin. C C. Davidson. A.Lene Lucian
J.Fenton .E.J Jones. J.M Welch. William E. Bundy.
J.P. Wood. H. W. Coultrap Thomas Blackstone. I. M
Foster. and Henry O'Bleness, being more than a
quorum of said Board of Trustees, nine members thereof
constituting such quorum under the laws of Ohio (see
[inserted] Approval
of Minutes [end inserted] Legal History O.U. P.51). The minutes of the annual
meeting held in June 1902 and Aug 30. 1902 and
October 17. 1902 were read by the Secretary to the
Board, and on motion duly seconded and
adopted said minutes were approved and confirmed
by the Board.

contract. [end inserted] Mr. Wood moved that the contract for the
construction of the new Normal [inserted] School [end inserted] building entered into
at the former session of this Board be spread upon
the minutes, which motion was duly seconded
and unanimously adopted.
The [inserted] Pres [end inserted] here read to the Board the following report
as to the conferring of degrees to wit:
