President and Secretary be empowered to enter
into said contract for and in be half of the Board of
Trustees of the corporation of the Ohio University and
which motion was duly seconded and adopted

Form of Bond
Know all men that we Geo. M Schneider
as principals, an the Bankers of Surety Co of Cleveland
O and___ as sureties are bonded unto the State of Ohio
for the use of the Ohio University in the sum of
Twenty Four Thousand Dollars for the payment of which
We hereby bind ourselves our heirs assigns, executors and
administrators _
The condition of the above obligation
is such that whereas Geo. M Schneider has filed
with the Board of Trustees of the Ohio University
his within proposal to furnish material and
perform labor included in said proposal for the
erection and completion of the Various branches
of the work mentioned for the Ohio University.
Now if the said proposal be
accepted , and the above named Principal shall
within ten days after the acceptance of said
proposal enter into the proper contract for furnishing
said materials and performing such labor , and
shall faithfully permform the same in accordance with
the said proposal,and the plans specifications, and
descriptions of said building, which shall be made a part
of said contract, then this obligation to be void otherwise,
to be and remain in full force.
