Mr Jones moved that we take a recess until
One Oclock P.M which motion was duly seconded
and adopted, and the Board as a [?body?] proceeded to
examine the site of the New building

Board met pursuant to recess same members present
as at the morning session except Mr Fenton who
was excused from further attendance at this meeting.

Building [end inserted] Mr_ Davidson moved that
the new normal college building be located south
east of the east wing which motion was duly
seconded and adopted.

[inserted] Employment
of Architect [end inserted] Mr Welch moved that we employ Frank L
Packard as architect at a compensation of 2 1/2 per
ent upon the cost of the new building to prepareall
necessary [inserted] plans [end inserted] until they are accepted by this Board,and
that he be employed as architect upon such building
as we may adopt plans for, which motion
was duly seconded and adopted.
[inserted] Fronting of
Normal College
Building [end inserted] Mr Blackstone
moved that the new building front to the north
which motion was duly seconded and adopted upon a call
of the roll by a vot of 10 yeas and 6 nays

Building [end inserted] Mr Bundy moved
that no part of the 20.000$ secured in the appropriation
bill by the last General Assembly be used for any other
purpose except for the construction of a separate library
building which motion was duly seconded:
