Mr Jewett moved the adoption of the forgoing
resolution by a yea and nay vote which motion
was duly seconded ,and a call of the roll was had
which resulted as follows;
Yeas Lowrey. Jewett. Hamblin
Davidson. Lene. Fenton. Benson. Jones Bundy - Wood -
Whiley Coultrap. Blackstone Foster_ Biddle and O'
Bleness and Pres Ellis - yeas - 17- Welch nay - the
President declared that said resolution had been
adopted and by a legal quorum of the Board -
Mr Jewett offered
the following resolutions;
[inserted] Adjournment
to Aug 29
1902 [end inserted] "Resolved; that when this
Board at this meeting finally adjourns, that it adjourn
to meet at this office on Friday August 29th 1902, at
1:30 P. M."; and moved its adoption by the Board
which motion was duly seconded and unanimously
adopted.
President Ellis read to the Board his annual
Report which is in the words and figures following
to wit:

O.U [end inserted] Herewith is presented
a brief report of that part of the University administration
with which I am connected.
The Fall term of the University opened September
10th 1901. The spring term will close with the exercises
of tomorrow-" Commencement Day" - June 19th 1902. The
register of student enrollment shows 419- different student
in attendance at some time in the college year. It is probable
that not more than 275 students were in attendance at
any one time in the year. Accomodations exist for a
much larger student attendance. The belief is that the
