Up earlyish, breakfast at
10, Freibe went to dentist at 10:30
and I gave him 50.00 (check for
cash) for laundry, cleaning and
provisions. Cleaned out util-
ity closet adjoining blue room
had a coke. Margie fixed
egg for mask which I used
and Pauline gave me a mani-
cure. At - 6 I began to prepare
for our dinner engagement
and Freibe and I left for Mrs Con-
nely's at 7.

Mr Burke, Mr and Mrs Shapiro
and Betty Randolph were guests
The 3 Connely girls and their
friends brot the number to
13. We had an enjoyable e-
vening (tho wretched weather)
and returned home about 11
had ice cream. Mother
was still up and we
retired at 12 +
