Up at 9:30 bathed, dressed, piddled
Jofe came about noon also Franz
and we went to lunch at 1.
Mr Hirmanez called for us at 2:40
and young Mr Labarca.
drove us to his father's week end [t.?]
place in the mountains and it is
just lovely. The day was cloudy and
quite cool but there was fire
in the fire place, many young
people around, so no one cared
about the weather. Champagne
was served and at 5 o'clock, tea, cake and
sandwiches. Franz played and we
left shortly after 6.
The host and hostess and their daughter and
also very very charming and it
was a grand afternoon.
Jofe and I went to dinner at 8:10
and I retired at
