sold them if they prove good at a dollar & Bustle giving in the Cask
the neat proceeds thereof will be best din as many of the Articles he order’d
as can be now procur’d & ship’t by Sloop speed will Capt Pash all
Nelson Smith my Nephew who designs to follow the Trade
between this Place & New York & who I beg leave to recommend to your fav.r
as an honest industrious capable Young man having faithfully serv’d his time with me any fav.r shown him will be esteem’d as

could get par for your Bill of £858.5.1 abating 6 Months Interest which
is the most could be expected a gentleman gives encouragement he would
take it at that & if not in Cash when it comes to hand would pay for it
in a Week or sooner what he engages for may be depended on several ofler
9/2 for it, but am pretty Confident it would sell readily having yours
& my indorsement with only abating 6 Months Interest as the drawers
