I owe to my Brother Woolseys Estate when it may not be in his power to
raise the Cash, if so it will suit me for that Sum as well as the money,
the remainder perhaps he can pay. This affair being made Secure will
put me into a good Posture, if not I shall feel the want of it much, you'l
therefore please to take the very first opportunity of seeing Mr. Hanson, after
his arrival & getting the matter settled as if it were your own & as soon as
possible without waiting to hear further from me, Mr. Livingston assures me
altho he has already a heavy Load on him, he will do all he can to serve
for which I am much oblig'd. we expect to see you here according to your
promise with your Daughters. mean time I am with tender of our best

PS you dont say how you are like to succeed in the Sale of
or Cutting wood should be glad to know what prospect you have,
if you are afraid of going to New York on Accott. of the Small Pox, you
