Sir

The 11th April last I forwarded you by Capt. Beath
Messrs. Hoskino & C.o letter & their acco'tt with & order on you for £90.8.2 lawful money
in fav'r of Mr. Aaron Lopez, payable three months after date, which I desir'd
Capt. Beath to wait on you with for acceptance, he tells me he has not yet
had opportunity to do it, but will call on you this srip for that purpose, if
it be inconvenient for you to pay the money immediately, you may accept to
pay it in six months, before which time I hereby engage it shall not be demanded,
but in case a statute of bankruptcy be taken out against them you may be
call'd upon sooner. your compliance will not only greatly oblige my friend Mr.
Lopez
& Messrs. Hoskins & C'o but

P.S. The affair between Messrs. Hoskins & C'o Mr. Lopez
is so particularly circumstanced they are very descrous to secure him in ??? above breanner

Sir

I wrote you 15th ins't & advis'd you the carver wanted
the light of the upper works of your ship & to know whether she is single or
double deckt, to which have no answer, he wont be able to compleate the
hcdd without it, youl please to let me know per first opportunity. I now
inclose you, your acco'tt curr'tt ballance in my fav'r (including your
bond to my brother Woolseys executors which is charg'd therein) £64.9.3 3/4
lm'o to which add £32.5.2 3/4 amount of the outs landing debts makes
£96.13.6/2, from which sum take £45.17.2/2 amount of hoscery
per freeman which is not payable till 12th March next, it appears there
remains due on the bond £50.17.4 if you find the acco'tt right & will
send me the reverse of it with the money due on the bond I will send you
the bond per first opportunity. if you find any error in the acco'tt please to
advise & it shall be reclifyed. Sturg is not yet arriv'd. you will be furnishd
with a certificate of your naturalization as soon as I can get it compleat'd
mean time I am

P.S. since the above rec'd your fav'r of 26th ins't
obsenve what you say of the head for your
ship & will give the carver the necessary
orders, sperma ceti white. oil £180, brown d'o £160, draind d'o £140. mohogony
was sold here some time since @3/4 old tenor per foot board measure, belecve
could get
