Dear Nephew

I duly rec'd your fav'r of 20th ult'o per Homer (covering a letter
to Charles W'd Apthorp esq'r which was duly forwarded) & of 25th per somes, the
letter inclosing W'm Roberts 1st & 2nd bill for £14.15.7 sterling with
extrats from two letters of Mr. Daniel Hailes to Mr. Robert, youl please to
forward the 3rd bill as opportunity offers. also rec'd yours of 28th per Homer
inclosing copy of gov'r Wilmots Warrant, & extracts from C W ? letter
of 3rd Jan:y & 6th May 1765, with your queries relative to your draft on him
which are quite satisfactory. my last inform'd you I had found the report
of one of your bill being in danger of being returnd with protest, turnd
out to be a mistake. a remittance to Mrss'rs Trecothick & c'o at this time
will be a great relief to my mind, as they have pressd me evry closely
to discharge the debt for the cloathing & look wholly to me for it, if
you can make a larger remitance then propos'd it will still be more
satisfactory both to them & to me, relying on your doing the best you can
in the affair concludes me.

Your affect'te uncle
