brother Mr. Henry Flynt Wendells deed for land in the county of Hamp-
shere, by this past I fowarded copy of your letter to Messrs. Harls whose answer
I may expect per return of this past, mean time I am

Mr. Robert Murray

Cap't W M Dean arrived here three days ago when I applyd
to him for payment of your demand on him, he acknowledges that of the bond
which he supposed when he gave it was for the whole he then ow'd you, but
appears to be at a loss about the £46.15/ ballance of your acco'tt & says you
credit him one ton short of the tustick, he taks of going to New York
to settle with you, but imagine he will not, shall therefore ues such method
for securing your money as I shall judge most conducive to your interest, mean
time youl please to furnish me with your power, the original bond & your
acco'tt authenticated agreeable to the directions I gave you in mine of 11th Mar’h
last being apprehensive there will be occasion for them, the sooner I have
them the better, that I may be in readiness to settle with him, if he should
have it in his power to pay, I am
