MEMORANDUM Of AGREEMENT made the First day
of July, A.D.. 1921.

BETWEEN:

THE STEFANSSON ARCTIC EXPLORATION & DEVELOPMENT
COMPANY, LIMITED, a duly incorporated Company
having its registered office at the City of
Vancouver, Province of British Columbia,
hereinafter called the Employer of the One Part,

-and-

ALLAN RUDYARD CRAWFORD, of 168 Walmer Road,
City of Toronto, Province of Ontario, Student,
hereinafter called the Employee of the Other Part.

The said Allan Rudyard Crawford covenants and
agrees that he will faithfully, honestly and diligently
serve the Employer in the capacity of Employer's representative
in charge of exploration work to he hereafter undertaken in
the Employer's business and that he will devote his entire
time, labor, skill and attention to such employment and obey
the lawful and proper orders and directions of the Employer
at all times during the term of his employment. That he will
regularly, as occasion nay arise, make scientific observations,
georgraphical 1 reports and reports on discoveries of new lands,
and generally carry out the spirit and intention of the said
expedition to be undertaken in the business of the Employer
confidentially and in the name of and for the sole benefit
of the Employer.

And in consideration of such services the Employer
covenants and agrees to pay to the Employee the sum of
One Hundred and fifty ($150.00) Dollars per month during
the term of this employment, and further covenants to
deposit to the credit of the Employee at the Bank of Nova
Scotia at the City of Vancouver salary cheque on the laet
day of each and every month during said term of employment.
