ALLAN CRAWFORD 20 years
Son of Professor J. T. Crawford of Toronto, Canada.
p 96, Eng edit,—height 5' 10", weight 151 lbs, a student at
Toronto University. Had worked with the Geological Survey
of Canada one summer. He was in his third year of college.
Had been specializing in geology, palaentology, and minor-
ology. He’d taken the First Blake Award in Science at
Toronto.

MILTON GALLE 20 years
Had acted for some time as secretary to Stef during the
latter's lecture tours. p 104 Eng edit. Stef merely refers
to him as "a twenty year old Texas boy."

It seems obvious from their pictures,
p 128 Eng edit, and the meagre descriptions
I've been able to dredge up, that Maurer,
Knight and Galle were of humbler background
than Crawford whose sophistication is plainly
obvious in his letter to Stef and from his
picture---the rest, it would seem, were
more of the adventurer, rolling stone kind.
Unless their various reports and diaries
were heavily edited, both Maurer and Knight
wrote expressively.
