Noice

.

Dear Mrs. Noice:

The Harvard Club failed to carry out properly last
summer my instructions for forwarding mail and your letter of May 18th
from Rio was one of those held for my return from Australia. You say
you are sorry if you have been led to misjudge me. Such things happen
when people do not get together and talk things over. A quiet and
friendly talk, such as I was ready for all last year, would probably
have avoided most of the trouble some of us are in now.

When you return to New York it will be wholly a
matter of your inclination whether we meet and talk things over.
I shall be very glad to if you wish it.

Mrs. Frances Allison Noice,
c/o Mr. William O. Allison,
100 William Street,
New York, N.Y.
