Dear Mr Stefansson

I have just talked with Ada
Blackjack and she tells me these
things -

First that she Mr Knight kept his
diary in a little wooden box -- Mr. Knight
had ask her to put the diary in his
trunk -( Ada thinks Mr Knight knew
he was not going to get well -- because
he was fainting all the time --) After he
died she tried to put it in his trunk
as he requested her -- but she could
not turn the key to the trunk --

- She then left it in the box and put
it with the rest of the things she had under
the "tarp" just out side her tent to keep
[...][her] from it from getting wet.
