I have given Noice all the assistance I could and
at my suggestion he has asked Mr. LeBourdais to help him pack, for
his arm will not be much use to him this afternoon, and Mr. Erskine
is out of town.

Two years ago when you sent the other party North
you ordered some extra binoculars, so I have given Noice two pairs of
new binoculars. I am sure you will approve of this, for it will save
him buying them and of course there is very little time to get such
things.
