Dear Mr. Stefansson,

I feel I owe you an apology for having so
long delayed answering your letter of the 8th July,
but we have lately been so much pressed here, that
I really have not had a moment in which to deal with
it. I have now had a talk with Brand, and we both
feel that just at this moment Ministers are all so
much preoccupied with the grave issues immediately
pending, that for the present we are scarcely justi-
fied in adding to their burdens by approaching them
again.

Needless to say if an opportunity should
arise for either of us to put in a word, or otherwise
to further your object, we will make a point of doing
so, but we feel that we hardly like to raise the
matter directly at this juncture.

Yours sincerely,
R.M. Kindersley
