Mr. Noice told the writer before he left here for Seattle and Nome that you advanced him $200. to pay his debts in New York.

We consider this very generous of you and are writing this letter to assure you that whenever we secure the funds for the Relief Expedition to Wrangle Island, which we hope will be got within the next five or ten days, your account will be the first one that will be paid.
