Lindeberg, Esq. -2- .

for the next three months. He will, therefore, not be
available until after this work is done, to come to Oak-
land , but I have written to him to-day, telling him that,
if it can be arranged, I am anxious for him to spend some
months in your factory, and in any case I am looking for-
ward to being in San Francisco again in the near future
and accompanying you to your works and learning at first
hand what you have accomplished.

I am also looking forward to receiving the photo-
graphs and other literature in regard to your marine Diesel
engine, for, although I do not see any immediate prospect
of business here, I am a believer, like yourself, in pre-
paring as far ahead as possible.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon, and
trusting that both you and Mrs. Lindeberg are well, I
remain, with all kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
AJT.
