After making the entry for yesterday I went
out to look at the dogs, and found one of them
dead. He was lying streatched out in the same
position as the former dog that died. We
hauled wood and at one time I thot I saw
him slightly staggar, but as he seemed to
be working all O.K. I paid no attention
to it. He ate his food and when I fed him
he was apparently all right. He was one
of our best dogs and as the "Bingville Bugle"
says "His loss will be greatly felt in the com-
munity." Stayed inside today. Blowing a gale
with drifting snow from the North. Cloudy.
The seamstress is doing very well and is cheerful.

but it was blowing a light gale from the N. so
slept some more. Cut wood and played cards. Hope
