Dear Mr. Melnyk:

I wrote you at length November 16th but have as
yet received no reply. I am eagerly awaiting it, for the
information you have is invaluable.

Since writing, I have noted that you mentioned in
your letter that Wells kept a diary. Have you any idea where
that diary is now or how it could be obtained?

You also speak of having given certain Wrangel
Island photographs to a reporter. Would it not be possible for
you to write to this reporter and get them back? Or could you
let me have the name and address of the reporter, so I could
get in touch with him?
