Dear Mr. Stefansson:

I have not yet heard from you in answer
to my recent letter with regard to the cheque for $333.20
from the Department of the Interior, Canada.

As mentioned in my recent letter, the Swift
Canadian Company have been after me now for some time to
pay the balance of their account. There is not sufficient
money in the treasury unless I deposit the above cheque.

Have you heard from the Government in this
regard and is it all right to deposit the cheque to the
Stefansson Arctic Exploration and Development Co.
