down and went away - I must write that story
too while I have time. It took me from ten last night
until almost two in the a.m. to write down lay in "The
Lady in the Moon"

I've wired Jan to meet us at the boat - She
wanted us to let her know and thought I'd save Ada a little of
the newspaper part of it - Later Larry may be
able to convince her that it doesnt do any harm to her
to have pictures taken, and since she did write
her story for you I don't think she should be troubled
now. I like her very much - but she will have
a hard time I think she is too pretty - and if
she is in Nome she will be as Marshall Jordan
says, "pursued by men - and kicked around,"
I believe that is true - but I don't see any
solution just yet - I may get an inspiration
some time but now there seems none in sight.
Will send you a statement of [end] of trip, for Ada as soon
as I get to Hollywood

I'll have to leave her in the hotel [tomorrow] for
I have to get to work the day afterward - and may
not be able to get in touch with any one from the
ranch and as I have no car will have to wait until
some one drives in to take her out - She expressed
a wish "to live in tent" the other day. Today she said "if Capt -
and Mrs Allen
go to Wrangell this summer I would like to go with
[them] -" I've written so much these days - but I am afraid [not to]
for fear there will be something missed that you might want to know.

Looking forward to letters from you in Hollywood, As ever P.
