Dear Ralph:
Thanks very much for your letter of January 11th, just
received along with the bills of the Wrangel Island expedition,
and your check for $284.15 for the balance. I have forwarded those
documents to Mr. John Anderson, the secretary of the company in
Toronto - the office has been moved from Vancouver. I have also
endorsed your check over to the company so as to keep the accounts
straight.
I had not seen Carl for more than two months until I
met him for just a minute in the Harvard Club the other day where
he was talking over reindeer matters with Archie Roosevelt and
others. I am expecteing to see him within a few days.
Once more many thanks to you and to Lomen Brothers
for your great kindness and many good offices.
Mr. Ralph Lomen,
Nome, Alaska.
