Yours of February 5th addressed to
Mr. Stefansson has travelled over a large part of the United
States and has reached me to-day just as I am leaving for
Quebec to be absent until the end of the week.

Mr. Stefansson forwarded to Mr. Anderson
your letter of December 19th last, but since that time both
Mr.Anderson and I have been travelling almost continuously
due to the fact that we have moved our offices from Vancouver
to the present address and all our files have been packed up,
and are only just not accessible.

You may depend, however, upon receiving
from Mr. Anderson within the course of the next ten days a
report which you desire in regard to the relief expedition
sent during August and September of last year to Wrangel
Island, and I hope that this continued delay will in nowise
inconvenience you.
