This is in reply to your letter of
February 23rd.

I shall, within a week, send you a
check on the Canadian Bank of Commerce at Ottawa for a
thousand dollars. Whatever is due you for interest I
suppose you can get from some funds of the Company still
available.

I am very grateful for the loan
last fall.
