VERSO:

Hanover, N.H. April 17, 1938.

The annual meeting of the Dartmouth Cemetery Association
was held this day at 2 P.M. in the Dartmouth Savings
Bank
Building, according to the notice of the meeting,
posted April 2, 1938.

The call for the meeting was read and the minutes
of the preceding meeting were read and approved
accepted.

The Treasurer, D. C. Rennie, presented his annual
report and that of the Auditor, which it was voted
to accept.

The Superintendent, A. D. Storrs, gave a brief
verbal report of the condition of the cemetery, which
seemed satisfactory, and said that a few lots,
mostly small, were still left, with perspects that
a few might be disposed of this year. This, he hoped,
might make up the deficit of the past year.

The present directors were re-elected for the
ensuing year, as follows:

G. D. Frost
A. D. Storrs,
R. J. Putnam,
F. J. A. Neef,
F. P. Lord

The officers of the past year were then re-elected
to serve for next year, as follows:

RECTO:

President, G. D. Frost
Vice-president, F. J. A. Neef
Treasurer, D. C. Rennie
Superintendent, A. D. Storrs
Secretary, F. P. Lord
Auditor, M. C. Aldrich

The question of the advisability of a dissolution of
this Association, and a transfer of the duties to
the Town, was raised by F. P. Lord. Following
some discussion by all the directors, especially as
to the exact status of this body, the Secretary was
asked to write the Secretary of State of New Hampshire
to find out if this Association is registered in
his office as a corporation. The majority of
the directors seemed opposed to any change.
It was then voted to adjourn.

F. P. Lord, Secretary.
