During the summer of , the College replaced
the broken tablestone of Mary Brinsmead Wheelock.
When the table stone and supporting stones were
removed, a slate slab of similar size as the
tablestone above was found at ground level. A
companion stone was found, also, under the tablestone
of Eleazar Wheelock. Both stones bore inscriptions.
They follow;
