[For a Felon] -
[Ry] - A peice of rock salt,
the size of an egg, wrap it in
a green cabbage leaf, if not to
be had, in [wit] brown paper.
cover it in hot ashes for 20
minutes, then pulverize +
mix with hard soap, q.s. to
make a [ salve], to which add
a little turpentine if the
soap contains but little, which
may be known by the smell.
Apply this to the disease;
which will remove the stain
in a few moments and [produce ]
a arm!!!
