To His Excellency B G Humphreys Governor of the State of Mississippi

The undersigned jurors who convicted W M Carpenter at the present term of said court of the crime of Bigamy, in consideration of the extreme youth of said Carpenter at the time the offence was committed & in consideration of the whole evidence in the case pray your Excellency to pardon said Carpenter -
