PROCLAMATION.
Three Hundred Dollars Reward.
WHEREAS, It appears by information received by me, that WM. TUCKER stands charged with murder of a Freedman in Warren county, and is still at large.
Now, therefore I, Benj. G. Hempreys, Governor of the State of Mississippi, do offer the above reward for the arrest and delivery of said Tucker to the Sheriff of Warren county; and I do moreover require all officers of this State to be diligent in their efforts to arrest said fugitive. And three hundred dollars for the apprehension and conviction of his accomplices, -- Crabtree, James Cates, and --Lyman, or one hundred dollars for either of them.
