To His Excellency Gov. Humphreys

Sir

Mr Wm Drysdale of This place held a Commission as Branch Pilot under Gov McWilly—and during our late Unfortunate strugle in which we both participated in— I enclosed his com-mission to our Mutual friend Gov Clark to be reviewed but not hearing from it—I now ask, that your Excellency will renew the Commission and forward it to him at Biloxi—
