To his Excellency The Governor Jackson Missi Sir

I called at your office on the morning of the 26th inst [deleted]at your office[deleted] to procure the order for a stay of the execution in the case of the State against John Ditteman; which you had on the day previous ordered to be made out, but you were not in and I had to leave without it. Will you please cause the same to be forwarded to me at this place. Respectfully Yours
