On the 8^th inst you telegraphed me to re=tain Mary Gerwick in Jail until you could ex=amine a petition in her be=half. The other prisoners have been sent to the penitentiary

If Mary Gerwick is to go to the Penitentiary, please request the keeper to send for her.
