The State of Mississippi Clarke County


To His Excellency Chas Clarke Governor of Mississippi.

The undersigned, Judge of the Probate Court of said County, Clerk of said Probate Court clerk of the Circuit Court, and Sheriff of said County, do hereby certify that, Joshua W. Seale, a resident citizen of said county, is a sober discreet and reliable man, and as such we hereby recomend him a suitable person as a dispenser ofspirituous liquors for Medicianal purposes in said Clarke County, under an act of the Legislature of said state passed at its recent ses-sion.
