Barbados 10th Janry 1804

Dear Sir

I had the favor of your Letter of 20th
novr. Delivered me by your amiable son on
7th Inst. I am afraid He has experienced
a disagreeable voyage from having fallen to
Leward of the Island. But I have
the pleasure to advise that I think
him recovering his Health- Be assured
my good Sir! that every attention in
my power Shall be paid to him while
He remains on this Island, & my
family will feel equal pleasure with
myself, in doing all that we can for
his comfort & happiness & for the restoration
of his valuable Health.- Tomorrow
we propose Setting out for our
Country residence, where my family
