I believe the above transcription refers to Orchidacea[e] the Latin name for the Orchid Family.

Correctly, the word Orchideae, which is printed on the cover or spine of the work, refers to the former name of the Orchid family.

The use of the word Orchideae is no longer used as the orchid family name, but as a tribe (1977) of orchids in the subfamily Orchidoideae.
