after he was hurt he was under the
influence of Chloroform until he died
he never said anything to anybody he
did not know anything. It was an awful
looking sight to see a sound hearty
man mashed up as he was. he
died on Tuesday about 4 o'clock he was
dying all day Tuesday he was buried
on Wednesday at two oclock. They all
think that after Ervin was hurt
that he walked right out of the tunnel
and got as far as the creek and
fainted and he laid there from 10 o'clock
until twelve. his brain was fractured
he was not hurt any other place but on his
head. It was very hard to see a brother
hurt like he was he talked a good deal
about going home and what a good
time he was going to have we all feel
very bad about him. it was to be so.

I will close by saying the rest of us are all
well and hope you are all the same
