Dear Aunt Margaret
It is with great pleasure
that I sit down this afternoon to let you know that
I am well and I hope that you are the same Aunt Lorain
received a letter from you about two weeks ago and I
was very glad to get yours and the babys Photographs
I think your picture looks very natural The baby has
grown a good deal since I saw him I suppose you
have heard that I was married. I was married the
28th of July to Saml. M. Hecker I was married in my
own house. Mother is living with me. Father is at Aunt
Lorains now He was up here the week before I was married
but he did not stay until after the wedding I He did not
like it because I married the one I did and so he would
not stay and he went back to Sacramento again and
we did not hear any thing from him until he come
up last Friday he has not done anything for Mother
since she has been here and I guess he does not mean
to by the way he acts now. When you answer this tell
me if Maria Daily is married and where does she live
and if the folks are all well. Nellie [Tauge] wanted
me to send her one of pictures tell her I have not
got any more I have got any more now I have
given them all away tell her if she has any taken
