Thos. E. Watt, Esq, 360 Fifth Ave, Pittsburg, Pa.
Dear Sir:
What is the lowest rate you could make for two gentlemen for a trip to Washington, Philadelphia, and New York, and Boston? We wish to be gone two weeks. Could you not make us a special rate. We desire to visit the leading institutions, in the cities named for the benefit of our own museum.
Very sincerely yours,
F. H. Gerrodette

G.G. Mellor, Esq., 319 Fifth Ave, Pittsburg, Pa.
Dear Mr. Mellor:
On my way here after leaving you I called at 360 Fifth Ave. I found that there will be two excursions to Atlantic City this month at $10 for the round trip. This rate allows one remain ten or twelve days. We could readily avail ourselves of this and go on to New York or Boston and return to Philadelphia within the time limited. By taking advantage of these excursions we could go to Washington and return to Pittsburg and later go to New York at a lower total cost than we could make the trip for from here to Washington and thense to New York , and Boston, and back independent ly of these excursions. I enclose the slip or advertisement for these excursions.
I think it would be just as advantageous to the Museum for you to see the museums in New York, Philadelphia, and Boston as to see that in Washington. Many ideas could be obtained from all three or four that could not be found in any one of these. Personally I should be much disappointed if you did not at least go to Washington with me. I believe that the committee as a whole would be more than pleased
