I agree with the prior transcriptionist that the last word of the letter is likely "received," or at least is intended to be "received," but the writing is mangled that I could also accept "reserved" as the last word.

Transcribe archival documents that shine light on the founding years of Carnegie Museum of Natural History and tell the story of museum collecting practices at that time.
