A rainy morning. Ben
had his car loaded ready
to go to Gretna. Did not
go until this evening.
He went and come before
sundown. He was pleased
with the sales. Jim and
John stripped tobacco all
day. I sewed a little.
Cooked three time and
washed dishes and churned.
I make all sorts of mistakes
such as cross the wrong letter.
The tobacco that Ben carried
off today was mine and Johns.
I was very glad to get
my part of the advance.
Mabel has bin cross
part of the day. She is not
well. The children
went to school. Did
not get wet much.
