A beautiful day.
Jim and Ben finished
stripping their curing
and loaded the wagon
ready to start to
Gretna in the morning.

I was mending
Henrys coat this
morning when Jim come
to the house and said
that Johnson and Mollie
was going to [John?]
Craddocks and that I
could go with them.
I got a snack to eat
and got Mabel and
my self ready. Ben
carried us to [Reynolds?].
Johnson went with
us. We got some
honey and got home
by dark.
