Thursday, October 18, 1923

A good day. The men
moved some tobacco
and stripped some and
loaded the waggon. Ben
and Henry has started
to Gretna tonight at
nine oclock. I wish them
good luck. Nellie did
not hear from Evylin
today.
I went to Ren Worsham
this evening. I walked
to the gray soil road.
Willie Hutcherson let
me ride to the road
that leads in to Ren's
house. Then I walked to
the house. I has a pleasant
evening. Ren brought
me home. Ethel and
the baby come with
us. Ren come by
Renan. I got a
[bucket?] of coffee.
