Tuesday, October 2, 1923

A good day. Jim and John
Ward cut corn. Ben
plowed for wheat. Mr Booker
borrowed Prince to plow.
Today the children went
to school.
Kate Harvey come this
morning. She brought some
butter beans. They were
very nice. She went by
Mr Bookers on her way
home. I and Mabel went
with her as far as Mr
Bookers. Mrs Booker
had bin to Renan. Drove
the car her self.
Nellie helped get dinner.
We cooked butter beans
and chicken and potatoes.
I washed a little today.
Guess Lelia will wash
for me tomorrow.
Ben is at work on his
swing tonight.
